Sound Blaster Live!, NOMAD and WebCam Go Product Lines First in a Series of Creative Solutions To Support Linux OS

MILPITAS, CA - December 16, 1999 - Creative Technology Ltd. (NASDAQ: CREAF), the leading provider of multimedia solutions for personal entertainment and productivity, today announced expanded support for the Linux OS. Creative plans to include support in its popular line of Sound Blaster Live! audio cards and Personal Digital Entertainment (PDE) Solutions.

Creative's PDE Internet Solutions include the NOMAD line of portable audio devices and the WebCam Go line or portable PC cameras. The award-winning Sound Blaster Live! audio solutions are designed to provide the ultimate in digital audio quality for and enhanced entertainment experience with music, games, MP3 downloads and other Internet audio solutions.
