3Dlabs Wildcat Graphics Accelerators Fully Support SolidWorks 3D CAD Software

Wildcat4 and Wildcat VP Products Boost Performance and Increase CAD User Productivity

January 20, 2003 3Dlabs® Inc., Ltd., a wholly owned subsidiary of Creative Technology Ltd., today announced at the SolidWorks World International User Conference in Orlando, FL. that the Wildcat®4 7110 and Wildcat VP970, VP870, VP760, and VP560 graphics accelerators fully support SolidWorks® 2001 Plus and SolidWorks 2003 3D CAD software packages. 3Dlabs is working closely with SolidWorks and will demonstrate its industry leading workstation graphics solutions at SolidWorks World in the 3Dlabs and AMD® sponsored classroom in the Disney® Coronado Springs Resort through January 22.

SolidWorks and 3Dlabs work together through the SolidWorks Partner Program, which features products, and services that complement SolidWorks' software. Under this program SolidWorks has tested the Wildcat graphics accelerators to ensure the combination of SolidWorks software and 3Dlabs hardware creates a high-quality platform for demanding CAD designers everywhere.

Engineers and CAD designers who use 3Dlabs Wildcat4 and Wildcat VP solutions in combination with SolidWorks 2001 Plus and 2003 3D CAD software packages save valuable production time on projects. 3Dlabs and SolidWorks also provide seamless ISV support to 3D CAD engineers and designers, allowing them to maximize their real-world productivity.
